Dave Dahl (Robbins)
Dave Dahl (aka Dave Robbins) is a 1984 graduate of Maine South.
After spending considerable time at WMTH (both radio and TV), Dave went on to the University of Wisconsin- Platteville where he focused on radio at WSUP-FM. He continued to hone his skills in writing, production, and on-air work and eventually landed his first paying job in radio.
Taking the “sponge” approach, Dave soaked up everything he could and went on to bigger and better jobs on the air. His big break came in 1991 when he was brought in to do the morning show at The Blaze (103.5fm) in Chicago. He later went on to work on-air for Chicago radio stations WRCX, Windy 100, WNND, and The Drive. Dave has also been heard on the airwaves in Milwaukee, WI, Memphis, TN, Tulsa, OK, and most recently in Washington, D.C.
Because of the ever shifting environment in radio, and a fatigue from constant moving, in 2008 Dave started his own production/syndication company, Pineapple Productions. In addition to providing voiceover and creative services work, he is the creator and executive producer of the nationally syndicated “Live in Concert,” heard on over 100 radio stations here in the U-S, and worldwide.
